I wanted to go out and try the first roll of Lucky C200 I bought, so I decided to go for a quick walk in my hometown city centre, on Saturday 14th (cloudy/overcast) and on Sunday 15th (sunny), to get a nice comparison with different lighting. As a bonus on sunday afternoon the Carnevale (carnival) celebrations were scheduled to be held in the two main squares, what better way to test a color film than to take photos of people in colorful costumes?
It was also a nice occasion to force a introverted recluse like myself to spend an afternoon among people and take photos of them, a thing I'm still anxious about doing.
The first photos of roll 1 were shot on the 14th, with overcast lighting. The rest of the roll, and the others, were shot on the following day. I also decided to try for the first time a roll of Vision3 250D AHU I had in the fridge, rating it at EI320 (I'm always kind of scared of pushing motion picture film to the Cinestill stops, even if cross processing in C-41). Roll 3 was some leftover respooled Fomapan 100 I had, I started the roll and finished it another day (see separate gallery). The small shrine you see in exp 1-16 and 3-8 is the spot where Rossini, a beloved orange tubby cat considered the town mascot, was ran over a few days prior.
